Chris MarksFounder
Prior to eBit labs, Chris Marks spent most of his career in banking, most recently he was the CEO of NatWest Markets PLC. He and Oli were part of the team that joined to help restructure the Group after the global financial crisis.Chris is an active angel, DeFi and digital asset investor. He is the Chair of what3words, a global location technology company. Chris is a member of the Board of Trustees of the English National Ballet, where he Chairs the Finance and General Purposes Committee. He studied Civil Engineering at Bristol University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Oliver CookeFounder
Before eBit labs, Oliver Cooke spent 20 years in banking running businesses in highly technical markets. His last role was at NatWest Markets PLC, NatWest Group’s investment banking business, where he was the Chief Digital Officer.Oli has been involved with the digital assets sector since 2013. He is an investor in start-ups and a mentor and adviser to fintech start-ups. He has degrees from Cambridge (Physics), LSE (Economics), and Manchester (PhD Physics).
